What can I expect from my FREE Fibroscan Appointment?

1. Fasting – with the exception of drinking water – at least 3 hours prior to your appointment is required to get an accurate reading
2. A non-invasive probe will press against your skin near your ribcage and will measure 3 cm3 volume of liver tissue. The examination volume of the Fibroscan is 100x the size of a typical liver biopsy which helps minimize sampling errors.
3. Results and finding are reviewed and shared to you by our provider to diagnose your condition during the visit
